BCALC is searching for individuals that enjoy working with adults who face language and social-economic barriers. Your work will enable adult learners to acquire skills and develop strategies to improve their lives through education. Make a difference in someone else's life.
ESL Instructor:
The selected individual will instruct students in the four competencies of Listening, Speaking, Reading and Writing using themed based activities to achieve individual goals. Instructors will create an engaging classroom environment to stimulate learning and conduct assessments and conduct assessments to determine progression of Canadian Benchmark scores. Instructors must demonstrate sensitivity to multi-cultural clients and possess good computer skills, interpersonal and communication skills as well as competent in digital skills to teach online classes when required.
Ideal candidates should possess a teaching degree with TESL certification. Consideration will be given to candidates with university degrees or college diploma in related disciplines.
